Winter Walk

My friend and I walked at Grand Mere State Park last week and we found this acorn tucked in between some fungi on a downed tree.  The bare structure of the trees and subtle nuance of colors made it feel like you were walking through a museum, yet the gnarled branches and array of textures felt patterned and whimsical.  This room tries to capture the two opposing feelings.
